The book "Extermination of the mentally ill in German occupied Poland. The beginning of the Genocide. The exhibition's guide" was published under the auspices of the Polish Psychiatric Association in June 2018.
A symposium 'Extermination of the mentally ill – remembrance and challenges' took place on 11 April 2017. The debate to follow focused on the challenges people with mental disorders have to face in the present and the future. Their tragic history during the Second World War and politically motivated abuse in psychiatry in the post-war period was presented.....
During the 45th Polish Psychiatrists' Congress, there will be a debate on extermination of people with mental disorders. The discussion will be led by, among others, Anna Dziewit-Meller, the author of the book "Góra Tajget" [Mount Taygetus] and Tadeusz Nasierowski, the leading expert on Genocide of mentally ill. All participants of the Congress are welcome.
